Alpha API Banking is an open banking platform through which clients, associates, and also companies which are not necessarily Banking Institutions (Third Party Providers – TPPs), can develop digital online banking applications relating to payment accounts which are available via Alpha e-Banking.
Through this platform, interested parties can explore and experiment with tools and software applications (known as Application Programing Interfaces or APIs), in order to develop applications and services addressed to Alpha Bank’s clients for payment accounts available in Alpha e-Banking.

STEP 1: Visit the Alpha Bank Group API Portal
STEP 2: Register in the environment for testing the development of applications (API sandbox).
STEP 3: Study the technical specifications to connect your applications to Alpha Bank’s APIs.
STEP 4: Connect your application to Alpha Bank’s test APIs.
STEP 5: Request access to Alpha Bank’s productive Open APIs (available as of the 14th of June 2019).Alpha API Banking is fully harmonised with the European Union’s Second Payment Services Directive (Payment Services Directive 2 or PSD2) and is provided through the Alpha Bank Group API Portal online platform.
