Acquisition Agreement

Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd has signed a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with Astrobank for the transfer of the latter’s banking operations. The legal completion of the transfer is expected to take place within the coming months.

Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alpha Bank S.A. and the acquisition is in full alignment with Alpha Bank Group’s strategic objective to strengthen its presence and financial position in the Cypriot market. This development will result in the creation of the third largest Bank in Cyprus - a stronger and more agile institution that will offer you an enhanced range of products and services along with an improved customer experience.
