A specially designed Educational Suitcase “travelled” to 20 lower secondary schools across Cyprus and presented the history of currency and the evolution of transactions in the Hellenic world, from antiquity to the present day, covering six historical periods (Antiquity, Roman Era, Byzantium, Ottoman Era, Modern Greek State, Present Day). The program was implemented by more than 100 teachers and attended by more than 2,500 students.

The program will continue during the next school year. Strengthening education has always been one of the main Corporate Responsibility priorities of Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd, which invests in the country’s future through targeted programs and actions.
